Hamilton Air Sports has recently developed and tested a classic range of pre-charged pneumatic air pistols known as the Intercepter. These classic styled air pistols compliment the shooting disciplines of Field Target, Silhouette and small game varmint hunting.
Fully charged, the Intercepter will deliver between 25 to 30 consistent shots as standard in .22 calibre with lightweight pellets exceeding 700 fps (feet per second).
The loading and firing arrangement is based on the time proven design of a separate breech loading bolt and cocking arm. This allows the shooter to load a pellet into the breech and close the bolt independent of setting the hammer and trigger.
The Intercepter trigger is a simple and effective two stage unit providing a crisp and predictable let off for every shot, and is adjustable for 1 - 3 pound release weight.
A set of ambidextrous contoured grips come as standard and are available in a variety of oil finished selected hardwoods.
All barrels are exclusively Lothar Walther, each individually crowned and chambered ensuring downrange accuracy and performance. Each barrel is housed inside a compact shroud designed to capture muzzle discharge and reduce noise levels.
Standard 11mm (3/8) scope rails are machined along the breech block and forward of the trigger guard to support a wide range of sighting options including a laser or compact torch.
